Volunteer Spotlight: ‘Superstar’ Sinh

by | Jul 6, 2021

To celebrate ‘Cheers for Volunteers’ Day on Sunday 4 July our latest film focuses on our volunteer Sinh who has given so much to all four of the project partners.

Sinh was connected to Voices in Exile when he first arrived in the UK and has gone on to become an active Parishioner, a coach at Brighton Table Tennis Club and a volunteer at the Food Hub. Volunteers are the backbone of the Fitzherbert Community Hub and without people like Sinh we really wouldn’t be able to operate.

Sinh summarises his experiences of volunteering by saying “I love it because I can help people”

“We have been lucky to have some fantastic volunteers from all walks of life… Sinh works effortlessly and efficiently, he lifts the mood of the place….we just love him!”

Anna, The Food Hub

How lucky are we to have Sinh volunteering with us?
