In this short video, Herb Nahapiet, Chair of the Fitzherbert Community Hub, sends a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who contributed to the FCH Crowdfunder and those who organised it.
The fundraiser raised £110,000 which is £10,000 over the target we set ourselves to buy essential
equipment for the fit-out of the refurbished hall.
We are in the process of distributing the amazing ‘rewards’ which were generously donated by Brighton Table Tennis Club, Etch and Happy Maki restaurants, Lizzie’s café, Butlers Wine Cellar, Sole Sister, artists Lee Baker and David Shrigley, singer Amelie Carter, and The Real Junk Food Project Brighton.
The Crowdfunder attracted 260 supporters who we can now count on as friends of the Fitzherbert
Community Hub.
The contract with Pilbeam Construction was signed at the end of January and if you walk by the St John the Baptist church, you’ll see that work is now underway.
