Funding success for the Fitzherbert Community Hub

by | Dec 13, 2020

Thanks to Sport England and AllChurches Trust

The partners in the Fitzherbert Community Hub project are delighted to announce that we have won project funding from Sport England and AllChurches Trust! Without the generosity and belief of our funders this project would not be possible.

We are so excited to get cracking on the project build so that we can provide the community with a place to come together to eat, play and thrive!

“We are proud to support this development which will provide a welcome space for the people of East Brighton to eat, socialise and flourish. We’re over the moon that our grant will help convert St. John the Baptist’s parish hall into an amazing ‘pay as you feel’ café”

Allchurches Trust

“We would like to say a big thanks to St John the Baptist for the opportunity and to Sport England for supporting this project from the outset. The collaboration between the Brighton Table Tennis Club, the Real Junk Food Project, Voices in Exile and the Parish make it unique and it has a massive potential to become a blueprint for others to follow.”

Tim Holton, Founder Director, Brighton Table Tennis Club
