Thank you all so much for helping us get our Fitzherbert Crowdfunder campaign off to such a flying start! With 20 days to go, we have already raised £35,000, more than a third of our target! We are very lucky to have a major local donor who is matching every contribution up to £50,000 £ for £, so every £1 you donate becomes £2! How great is that?
We reached a major milestone when we hit the 30 donors mark this week! This automatically triggered a £5,000 contribution from the M&S Energy Community Fund Competition 2021. They contribute to Crowdfunder projects that are committed to being environmentally conscious and installing renewable technology, being energy efficient or adopting carbon reduction measures. M&S Energy were impressed by the use of surplus food in the Community Cafe and the incorporation of carbon reduction measures in the design of the Hub. We are so grateful to M&S Energy for their funding!
Another exciting development this week was news from Sport England that they are backing our Crowdfunder! Sport England has already awarded us with a substantial grant towards the cost of the project build and now they are demonstrating their continued support through the Crowdfunder to the tune of an additional £10,000! However, this will only be contributed once we have reached 100 unique Crowdfunder supporters. Any donation, big or small, counts so please ask your friends and contacts to help!
This additional £10,000 would make such a massive difference, so please donate if you can!
Finally, don’t forget to look at our Crowdfunder Rewards! They have been flying off the shelf this week but there’s still plenty to choose from including one to one table tennis coaching from Paralympic and Strictly superstar Will Bayley (yes you read that right!!!!!), Brighton Table Tennis Club merchandise, dinner at the Real Junk Food Supper Club, a highly collectable Lee Baker print….and lots, lots more!
Feel free to get in touch if you’re not sure how to claim a Reward!
